This is a physical part. I print it and ship it to you.
The Tall and Extra Tall Seat Rail plans need two holes at each end of each rail: a bolt hole straight down through the edge, centered in the 1" thickness, and a shaft hole straight through the face. This 3D printed guide caps the end of the rail and puts both holes in the right spot, square, without a drill press. One guide does all four corners.
Imperial (US) or Metric: choose above. Imperial is sized for 21/64" and 5/16" bits. Metric is sized for 8.5 mm and 8 mm bits. Pick the one that matches the bits you have.
What you get
- (1) HA Woodworks Seat Rail Drill Guide, 3D printed
- Step-by-step instructions: marking, drilling order, bit length, and tape flag depths for Tall and Extra Tall
Not included (you'll need)
- Rails cut to size from the Tall and Extra Tall Seat Rail Plans
- A 5/16" bit (or 8 mm) for the shaft holes
